Hey Peeps!

Just popped in to say Merry Xmas and thanks to a few of you sharing your latest projects on facebook or messaging me, I've got the urge to start a new build.
I just got my 99 ZX9R back on the road and will be looking to fighter it in 2017.
Let the madness begin!

Into something like this.

I'll be lucky if I even get a start on it. Also have a GSX650F engine I want to put in a KLX 650. Maybe 2018 for that one.

Craig that would be a sweet project to work on !!

I plan to finish my current ( and first ) build with my R1, all going well should get that wrapped up towards end of Jan / early Feb.

So far i've been loving have a project on the go so not sure what i'll do after the R1 fighter is finished..... it'll be a bit sad not having something in the works.

Who hasn't watched the mad kuusa hayabusa destroyer and wanted to build one ? that's always a nice dream project, maybe an old school big horizontal opposed BMW fightered ? cheap old HD sporty into a flat tracker ? just dreams so far but once the big bang fighter is done i'll be sure to get something underway in the future :)

Both projects for me its to have the 7/11 back on the road and the R1 to be done and on the road also.
R1 is a long way there, 7/11 will need some TLC to get it running right.

I have 23 months to bring my house up to spec then I can sell it and get out of Brisbane.
Keep riding my bikes as they are and pump time and money into the house.

Short term pain for long term gain.
Retire, free up some money, bigger shed, more toys, bike related hobby / business.

Nearly got my Stagea registered again, and weasel is being a bad influence tempting me to supercharge my Elgrand. Also looking for a bike I can ride with my leg. Maybe a VMax or another VTR thou.

Oh yeh, I'm back online thanks to shitty sat net. Hi.

Hey mate, good to hear from you, you've been away for some time!

Jules: on your 2nd house already (with acreage). Mate, you are nailing it!

Tony; you've been talking about escaping Brisbane for a while now. Still going Sunshine Coast Hinterland?

In 2017 I'm going to finish my project VFR750 that I started in 2003...

Then start on the 1991 GSX-R750 I picked up six months ago. That one is basically a motor/frame/swingarm/rear wheel. No bodywork whatsoever. Incredibly, a 1994 VFR front end bolted straight onto it, so I can at least wheel it around the garage. The donk supposedly has Yoshimura cams, Wiseco pistons etc. My mate wants me to drop it into a DR600...

Also will at least make a start on my 1969 Kombi camper.

Not much bike related, hoping to get time to ride a few of em. Bought 120acres in the bush 40 mins from home, so planning to build my own set of private single trails for the dirt squirter. Maybe an edge sidewinder buggy to rip up the joint as well...lol

Hey mate, good to hear from you, you've been away for some time!

Cheers mate. Yeh we moved down to our new farm in Tas, which we bought with a promise from NBN that it has fixed wireless, and it has nothing.. no net, and no mobile reception! We finally got sat net but it's slow and expensive. Have to pay to install our own fixed wireless tower now. Some next-level good driving roads right at our door though, so it's worth it in the long run.

That's awesome. My sis in law has a 72 in my shed that has been bare metal restored.

I am pretty sure it's the prototype Sunliner camper built by Tony Hunter in the early seventies - Sunliner is still going strong. Unfortunately they kept no records of their first vehicles.

15K.... fuck off...

As for the projects, well.... I'd like my EH wagon on the road again, it's been under cover for 15 years.
I like my 1972 CB350F going, ungun is in the frame and that's about it for the last 2 years.
Finish my custom DH pushy frame.

If people would stop sending me work to do after hours I might be able to get some of my own stuff done.
Most likely I'll be riding ma pushies and shaking tha kids in my spare time.

Long time since I've wandered these halls , happy new year folks. Turned one of my hobbies into an income (Built a hydro/garnet/bead/and soda blasting cabinets all big enough to fit large bike frames in) So working from home now instead of the dreaded night shift for 7 months every year.

You'd think working at home would give me more time for projects for me, not so much. The CBR900rr fighter is registered and racking up the KM but not ridden enough (can't cart heavy shit like 6m lengths of steel from town) Would like to do a few more things to the CBR early this year. Several customers bikes and parts in the shed get priority atm though.
