So I bought a Akra Ti system for the 09 of a mate at work, but didn't come with a baffle. Normally this wouldn't be a drama but it really is fuck off loud and I have a trip to Tassie coming up in December, the last thing I need is bleeding ears from 6 hours a day riding.

If any one has a baffle for one floating about they don't need, I'd happily take it off your hands.

just use earplugs, nancy boy.

I liked the akra carbon without a baffle, the scorpion system i have now is fucking loud - a cop told me to put the baffle back in once.

Nancy boy?
...I probably deserve that lol

I actually wanted the akara carbon I reckon they look and sound better than the Ti model, but I got offered this one for a price I couldn't refuse. without the baffle its ok round town but I'm about to do 4000km over 10 days and the drone that triple makes will drive me nuts on the hwy. gonna drill some holes in the baffle so its still loud but wont be as sharp as not having one at all

Nick at stoltec moto in the US prefers the ti akra over the carbon for what used to be his track 09. It tucks in tighter than the carbon, so less damage in a crash, and putting the baffle back in only loses about 1hp as measured on a dyno.
The carbon is cheaper when you buy them new, but stoltec has used both and prefers the ti, so don't feel too bad.
I prefer the my akra carbon on my vfr.

But if you really don't like the ti, I'll swap you for my scorpion system. :D
It has 2 optional baffles, one for the link pipe and one for the can.
