The Winter Run is on to the Heritage Dorrigo Hotel 0266572016. My joint will be open Friday night for the early starters. Meeting others in Lismore at 10, then some at Casino Maccas at 11. If it sounds familiar, it is, it's the same as last year. Organise your mates and book your own room. I have booked for Mark, Si, Joe and me. Had a great ride last year, especially following those Harleys through the range, so hopefully you can all get there

Righto, who's doing the Winter Run?. Don't be shy. The ice had melted off the bikes by 10 Sunday morning last year. The road to Dorrigo has been much improved over the last couple of years and makes for a very enjoyable ride. You only feel cold when your going slow!

Talking to a mate who stayed at Dorrigo hotel last weekend. They told him they were full, but apparently had spare rooms. He said they didn't have a clue what they were doing. The Commercial is just down the road so no dramas

The Commercial has been sold recently & handover is late July, told by staff last week they are waiting on directions if the hotel was getting a makeover or business as usual....will call tomorrow for an update.....

I suggest meeting at BP Yatala at a time that would suit getting to Casino about 10.30 - 11.00. I'm coming from Helidon so can meet anywhere if that don't suit the masses.

The Casino Truck Show is on that morning, like last year, so try to stay west of Centre Street to get to Maccas

Beaudesert to pick up Sideshow & Co. Going Lions Road to save some time (cuts out 15mins)

Planning to stop at Kyogle for a Brekky at the Box & Dice Cafe...
Their Fast with Meals & do a Good Brekky with plenty of options
Then it’s only 20mins ride to the meet point at Casino Maccas

Can put a splash of fuel in at Kyogle but filling up at Casino
This is only a rough plan …happy to change

Was hopeing for the for the excess to drip onto the front tyre to hold it down......yea that didn't work

Note to all Hot Grip installers..Please note tip #24 please ensure your throttle tube is not cracked.
A cracked throttle tube & a full tube of superglue will result in gluing the everything, I mean everything, Full Throttle Lock Up
But in true Streetfighter Fashion it was fixed on the side of the road with bugger all tools.

I can only match that with adjusting carbs with a hangover so that the throttle cable nipple gets stuck on the carb housing once it hits wide open throttle leaving it stuck there. Most entertaining and a sure fire way to wake you up from that hangover slumber. Don't try this at home kids.
