The things you have to do to get Rego changed from state to state...

I had to source a rear guard to cover the rear wheel to the legal amount before I would be allowed to transfer "Mongrel" to WA Rego. Being that it costs $120 for 1 years rego compared to $340 a year in QLD... Its kinda worth the hassle...

Yeah we all have to do it. On the bandit we hacksawed up a bit of alloy plate and screwed it to the undertail. 5 Mins after it came back from greenslip just pulled it off and fitted the neat little unit i had bought. Stupid rules...

yeh it does suck but there is good and bad in every states laws and for the price diference i'll stay wa rego'd

Fimp it is leagal cause that guard is what came out with that tail when the bike was origanly rego'd . theres not a thing they cane do about it . even though it is on a diferent bike . as we all know the guard will not do anything except piss us off and give the cops something else to bust us for when we get rid of it .
