Hey all! Been a long time coming. I bought this about 2 years ago from another forum member. It was running well but needed a fair bit of work. Here's how it looked when I bought it.

It had a 02' R6 rear cowl with an 05 light fixed to a chopped stock subframe, chopped exhaust, white exhaust wrap, a shit house front light and a moto detail gauge. It also had a drag link for the rear shock in it.

What's your plan for the bike so?

I've come a fair way since I bought it! I didn't really take any step by step build photos so i'll just run through a few things I did and post up some flicks.First thing I did was ditch the horrendous headlight in favour of a twin stacked job off a kit car. I also put some new LED indicators on with the front lights.'

Next was the issue of the exhaust. EGay to the rescue with a Gianelli carbon job from a CBR600. Grinder, meet can! And boom, shorty.

After that was the exhaust wrap. I hated the white so I ditched it in favour of a some black heat wrap.

After that I had it rego'd and rode it as it was for a while. After it got some K's on it the rear cowl started to crack as it was not really suited to the chopped subframe so off that came. I scored a 02' model R6 subframe and had Ben at EC mate it to the Blade's frame. Mad job! Also got new rear bod work to suit the subframe.

These pics are all before the new subframe.

New subframe on!

Some carbon fibre accents courtesy of Autowrapz. Makes the bike look much more modern in my view, breaking up all the black.
As you can see, I also added a Trail Tech Vapor Stealth with the dash. Absolutely love it!

And the final product:

Looking good. the old subframe did seem to end quite abruptly and a bit short, or so it seemed from the pics.

Bike's looking good.

Nice touch with the red rim tape too, that adds about 5bhp :D

Been waiting for this. Looks good mate. How do those headlights perform?
When I get mine going we'll have to get a ride going.

Bike looks great mate. I have a couple of questions about the gauges, Did you fit the Trail tech dash yourself, did you use the speedo sensor and tacho sensor that came with it or were you able to use the feed from the bikes loom ?

Pretty much the same as what old mate said in the other thread Simo. Mag speed sensor picked up of a replacement bolt and tach reading off the no1 spark plug lead.
