Called thru there a few years ago on our back from racing Finke. I get the touristy thing, normally not something I'd do but for this trip its just ride to get away for a couple of days and have a look around. Nice area, good latte drinking place I reckon haha.

How long are you walking for?

Yeh Hahndorf is a nice place, and just up the road is the Holden Car and Bike museum. If your into your Dirt Squirters slim, the museum has Andy Caldecotts Dakar bikes on show. That was 2 years ago now, lol.

Cool, will check that out, thanks. We stopped by his memorial in Keith on the way back the first time we did finke.

Sounds like a plan then. Will have to do a search for accommodation in the area. Didn't have much of a look around last time I stopped there but looks like there should be some nice roads tucked in the hills nearby.
