First things first found my self a good clean bike with an solid motor and an good gearbox.bought it and got it to my shop.Previous owner was not to impressed when he heard I'm chopping her up.

Back at the shop making some small changes before i go test run my new bandit project bike.

At the Club house bike feels grate no problems and starting to chop[ her in my head planing planing planing.

Back at the shop again stripping down the bandit getting rid of the head peace chain guard and any thing i don't need on my new build

My first big change to my B12 checking what its gonna take to get my newly acquired GSXR 1100 WP front end fitted.i pressed out the bandit pin out of the bottom yoke and did the same with the WP yoke. The bandit pin is .3 of an mm bigger so machined the WP yoke with .3mm and press fitted the bandit pin in place in the WP yoke.

Fits Like a Glove and looking good.Hope this will help eliminate that spongy ride the bandits are so well known for.

Wheel fitted had to space it a little but went in OK. Drilled some holes for the risers and playing round with GSXR 1000 K4 head light and clocks. not really feeling it tho. lol

Got some new wave discs and a set of six pots from an busa.

I have long legs and always find bike to low for me.so jacked up the ass with some made up dogs.

Ive always liked the K4 1000 tail peace so picked one up and having a look what its gonna look like. Its my only bike at the moment so Im looking to have a sporty look but still keep the bird perch.

So here we go grinder out no turning back now.:rolleyes:off with the old sub.

The new sub frame is ally and as we know the bandit is still old school steel.welded some squarer tubing on to the bandit frame and slide the ally in to place threaded m8 SS bold and tide it all down.i would have like to go shorter on the tail giving an more aggressive look. but like i mentioned i need to keep the pillion seat for now or at least until i get an second bike

New tail peace is now on seat and tank is fitting perfectly very chuffed so far.
69176916

Now head peace aether classic fighter twin head lights or some modern looking head peace.Found something i like and fitted the new head peace looking good.

Look at that sexy ass

Time to go test the bike see if all my changes is happy and working properly.Quite exited by now cos i have not been riding for almost 9 weeks now.

Well she handles like a dream no spongy suspension combined with that torque the bandit does so well.I think im on to something. maybe just cos its my build.lol
692969286927
Playing so lekker i run out of juice ha ha. a well photo opp i guess. Need to start thinking color

Satin black for now with some yellow stickers for the club.Hard to in vision any thing with all the color she is now.

That is what i have for now. I'm still planning on converting to EFI from carbs and id love to go wide wheel say 240 on the rear as far as i can see the VFR 750 with car rim seems to be the most affordable but still have to research the subject. I'm also seeing here in a dark bronze pearl with some black stickers. But time will tell. Don't know much about EFI aether but I'm sure it will make the bike smoother and lighter on gas don't know if there will be power gains. if there is any advise or any one can shed some light on these matters id be gratefuller.

That GSXR tail works great on there mate. I haven't seen that one done on a Bandit before (that I can remember). I like it.

Welcome aboard.
