There's plenty of topics on SSSA conversions. What arm do you have or want? VFR750? VFR800? Ducati? VFR are the most popular.

go with a known swap and it will be easy

I'd be measuring the gap between your frame at the swingarm mounts and then finding the width of the VFR750 and VFR800 mounting points as I think the 800 is wider. It's easier to bush up the smnaller one than to grind away the larger if it's too big from what I have heard (unless either has a massive difference from your frame gap of course).
