NEW ASF SHIRTS - is it time yet ?

Is it time yet for some new shirts ? I have worn mine to death thay the collar is falling apart on a few , the blacks almost grey . I have one of each so far and most are in the same state of wear and on numerous occasions have been told i can be seen with her in that tatty top hahaha . New slogan competition maybe ? Make it a forum user only comp so the 10000 people on the facebook page actually come to the forum to contribute ? Just a thought ?

I've had heaps of shit getting in the way, but after the AFR everyone was on at me about it so I really should make the effort.

I will only be able to do it as a payment up front affair as I just can't fund the shirts right now.

On another note, nearly EVERYONE wants a shirt that looks different to the old ones, as no matter what shirt we have done it always looks the same from the front. A simple change of slogan on the back used to be good, but that's had it's time now.

Does anyone have any suggestion on what we would do to make these new ones diffrerent?

Any links or photos to suggestions would be very welcome! I can create the artwork when I have sime ideasin my head, but that's whewre the problem lies right now, sofire away with some suggestions and I'll get the ball rolling.

Since facebook is ruining everyones lives and the abilities of people being able to talk face to face what about a burnout pic with the facebook like symbol you know the thumbs up one . And maybe something like "road warrior not keyboard warrior" . Personally i like the old asf style symbol on the front and new design on the back but thats just me

how bout a smaller ASF logo to one side of the chest and a another logo on the sleeve with slogan on the back (or even just logo on the sleeves and slogan on the back) - bit like the old 'Let the Madness begin" style

would be a bit more refined than the large centre print on the front

My early ones, I'll race anyone / let the madness begin / G'day officer are still going strong.
Faded and worn but still wearable.

Some of my later ones, 2007 and 2008 Fools Runs, have either lost their shape or got holes.
Not because of their age, this was a few years back. I can't wear them anymore.

The earlier ones certainly seemed better quality.

I hear your frustration mate. The plan behind these shirts is to try and squeeze a little profit from them to upgrade this forum so it has an app feature that people can download on their phones and use the same as they do with Facebook (well, that's the plan anyway). If that's where all the fish are, then I have to go fishing there. Let's hope this upgrade will bring people back.

yea, I've noticed that. Somebody will post something interesting up and then around 12 replies just appear from nowhere. Yet other posts get no replies at all. The good content needs to come back in here. If the app has a feature that uses all the phones tech stuiff (like the camera) then maybe it will bring it back to life? Saying that, that may also bring back the old storage of images problem that we got rid of? Thanks Facebook.

You're not logging on to ASF. I hope that makes sense

What Russ said mate. It's not part of the ASF forum, it's a completely different website. You register your details when you buy. Log in is simply for anybody that has al;ready bought and wants to check their previous purchases or other such stuff.

Cicco - The order was submitted and the shirts have been ordered by the printer. He's waiting on delivery and has the screens ready to run.
