gs 500

Got a mate at work for the fun of it wants to drag his 09 gs500 , jets are done ,headers are done pod filters added ,now without turbo etc what can be done to these is it possible to advance timing etc ? cheers in advance

I cleaned up the head on mine, port and polish and it got .010 thou oversize pistons on the rebuild.

I have heard of people cracking open the crankcase and lightening up bits in there too. I wouldn't think it's worth the effort though.

Oil cooled GSXR head with the outer pair of cylinders cut off wakes them up a bit.
