Na the sv was a bit out of my ball park after we bought a new car :( Im not to keen on twins but ive had mixed reports on ducati, everything from nothing but breakdowns to the best bike you'll ever own. Not sure what to believe but i spose ill find out soon :)

Still a good buy Lewis, a 900 motor will go right in and give you 80 odd HP.
Just do a twin disc conversion and fit an Ohlins and you will kick arse on any road that has corners on it.
Morry the mechanic has done exactly that and loves it to death, and he know's his Dukes.

He's now modifying an FI motor to run carbs, some decent compression and a tacho drive and is fitting that.
Look for us at AFR if you're going and he will give you all the advice you will ever need.
The bike won't be finished in time but he will be there.
