Hi,

There is a much easier way.

1.Buy a bike that has Rego.
2.Mod the shit out of it.
3.DON'T let the rego run out :)

You're weclome.

Hi and welcome Mike,

Whether you can register the frame may depend on the make and age of the bike. I believe any pre 1989 bikes can be registered, but you'll need an import approval that lists that frame number.

What bike you planning to build?

ive got a ktm 990 motor so i need a suitable frame that i can rego. ive just bought a bmw s1000rr stat write off for the motor to go into my race buggy. im planning to use the front and rear end on the fighter and then ive got complete tail with subframe and seat from ducati 1048. i suppose anything with steel trellis frame would do.

It seems like you just need a frame to get your build going...I guess you could use www.findapart.com.au (http://www.findapart.com.au) and see if anyone has a superduke frame that isn't on the written off register??

If new frame to much $ you can always mod
a frame from another bike instead of full custom
Will be intresting to see how much they want for a replacement
