I see a turbo in one of the pics, woowza hope it's not on it as am sure they got more than enough of power, I'll reframe my edited question, looks fantastic and I don't think I can afford it

The turbo plan got put to the side for a while. i'll keep the turbo(s) for another project down the track i reckon.

I would probably be chasing around the $8k mark or swap for a late model 300 2 stroke enduro bike or late model 450 mx properly set up for motard.

I sure am getting inspired, I even started thinking about making my own.
How does this sound for a first sfighter project bike.

Clean title '99 R6 with 55K on the clock, rh fairing broken, what would a fair price be? Needs a bluey.
He's asking 2700 I think it's bit much

99 R6 were a weapon of a bike Deemo, I had one and regret selling it. Plenty of power for a 600, only issues were 2nd gear supposedly got munted quite reguarly and the stator - rec/reg's were shite. Apart from that, aces...

welcome Deemo, I'm not sure exactly what could be wrong with the GIX but maybe check the the gears for smooth operation and also could be worth looking out for burnt connectors as the wiring could be suspect on them
