Need some advice for a new tail for my 94 cbr 900rr. I hate the look of the stock tails (to big). I have seen people put on a gxsr 1000 tail, a yamaha R6 tail and a honda cbr 600rr tail. I was wondering what would be easiest to put on my bike?

Go out and find what tail you really want and we'll tell you how to fit it.

Mate as the lads said
you can make any tail fit
just get the one you want
and if you know anyone with a
welder he should be able
to make you up a subframe
for it.

Mate I couldnt weld but I had a basic concept of what I needed and took it to some one who could weld and WHELLA!, Just take your time mine is a 94 Model aswell , probably the easiest as you will no dout read in other threads is to get a full subframe and ducktail all inclusive and just make up adapter brackets that works real well;)

Yes M8 its the stock sub , if your welding is like mine I think that its best to make brackets up to adapt a genuine sub frame cause another advantage is that you can also use the genuine battery tray (no matter what brand of tail you decide on) the thing with my build was that I wanted the factory undertail exhaust aswell ;) http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/582040459114569.jpg

Hueyonablade is there any chance that you have more pictures of the adapter you made between the subframe and the frame? Am going the same route on my blade. Help (pictures) would be appreciated.

I just butchered up my whole tail section on my 94 blade.
Its now a single seater, and all i needed was alittle alloy plate, and a bit welding, and its a one of a kind.
Bike is at the shop now getting all the wiring done,so hopefully i'll have pics up soon.
But your right, the tail on the blade looks fkn huge and horrible!!!
