OK so I got a Chinese motion pro rep Q/A throttle for my bike and the cheap shit cable adjuster snapped while I was screwing it into the throttle housing. As I can't find anywhere I can buy Motion Pro throttle cables other than part of a kit I'm thinking about just buying a Q/A throttle kit but have found a range of Q/A throttle kits on the market ranging in price and quality.
Now I'm not looking for a cheap Q/A throttle "fix" such as using an R1 throttle tube or making my own out of heating pipe or whatever Bunnings has on the shelf, I'm more concerned in sourcing the actual cables.
If somebody could recommend anywhere in Melbourne that makes custom throttle cables AND SUPPLY THE CABLE FITTINGS then that would be fine but my preference is to get a Q/A throttle kit.
As I'll be fitting them on to my 1980 GSX 1100 with Mikuni RS flatties there is no specific "kit" as such so will be getting universal cables or hopefully a kit with similar length cables and similar fittings.
