I did wrong by the forum, not by intention but fucked up none the less.
Just moved house and was clearing a load of stuff in the garage as there's too much in the garage and not enough space. Listed a whole lot of parts on ebay (http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/jultab81/m.html?item=131261331043&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562) & Gumtree (http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-seller/Julian/1001925214) to try to make some space, and one of the items was a muffler that I got for free on the forum that was intended to either go on the CBR or on the new project (which turned out to be a CB750 and now want a different style on it). The CBR is using a flange style muffler and can get one ready to fit rather than stay stuffing around and making a link pipe on it so decided to get rid of it.
I got a 'friendly' message from a forum member that I fucked up, so I removed the listing and felt bad for the fuck up. What perturbed me was that when I got on the forum I see Mr righteous pointing his finger at me for doing the wrong thing. Never mind that 3 years ago I sold him a carbon fibre 848 tail which I gave to him before he could pay as he didn't have money at the time. 2 years later after me asking for some money he sent $50 and another year later I still have not received anything else. Now I can't even remember how much I actually paid for the 848 tail + postage (off another forum member here) but I think it was more than the $70 than he claims, but to be honest I wasn't really stressed about it and let it be. Never did I post anything on the forum asking for the money (even though it did take 2 years before I received any money and to date only $50), but you know what, I had better things to do in life.
Adding insult to injury this is the same person also blatantly copied the 'Streetfighters' magazine wording format to make money off tops that he decided to sell on the forum without asking Si if he could sell them on the forum. They later got removed from the forum....
So yes, I did fuck up, and the message on ebay did bring me in check, but posting on the forum pretending to be God almighty on a pedestal... really??? Look in your own closet first mate.
And PS. I don't need the rest of the money for the tail, keep it. You must need it if you couldn't scrape it up in 3 years.
