i need the diamensions of the curvy rad u get on the later 90's gixers
......i have a plan.... and would it work on its side ?

i could have measured you one, but mines kinda mangled now


are you talking about the ones that taper off towards the bottom?

nah the gixer one s that are curved i wanna see if i can mount one on the triumph sideways on , get rid of the stock one and hide the oil cooler behind it

measurments are as follows

width is 460mm aprox +-5mm
hight is 330mm from the top of the top mount to the bottom of the bottom moutunts
hight is 240mm with out the mounts
thickness of curve (ie from the front out side of the rad to the back of the center of the rad) is 130mm the thickness of the core is 25mm

if you need more info let me know and i will do my best to help you out.

a top rad off a TLR would be cool cos its nice and skinny (for what i think your up to...)

will do mate uv got me thinkin now ..also if a car can have its trans cooler integrated into its rad why cant a bikes oil cooler be like that

if this is for the bike im thinking of you sure you wont have cooling problems?

Electric water pump perhaps?

i dont think so.. im sure my pump is driven ...its on the l/h side just in front of the sprocket

im talking with Racerads atm about a custom 40mm rad
i'll let you know if it costs rediculous amounts just in case your interested ;)

hey, i have a spare lower loop thingy off a TLR (it goes between the engineblock and the oil filter, and flows rad coolant through a ring sorta thing)
if that fit on could you then just do without an oil cooler?

i think i know what u mean ..the filter screws into it sounds good except my oilfilter is sunk in behind the clutch on the back of the sump
