any body got experience of swapping the airbox for K&N pod filters on fuel injection

The bike is an 08 honda 400 super4. The young lad building it wants to junk the airbox and fit K&Ns.

What does one do about the various sensors and hoses etc that went to and from the airbox

Keep the airbox, it works better ;)
Or if he just wants the look cut a pod filter down the middle and fit it to the airbox side covers.

Just block the hoses off.
K&N filters mean more air in which means more fuel in (Power commander etc) which means more exhaust out (after-market can). It is a bit of a knock on effect.
