According to the internet, there is no such thing as a TT250 made after 1980. I hope that's not true. The compliance plate says 11/89 TT 250 and so do the decals. But locating a workshop manual has been fruitless so far.
Any ideas on where to get one?

Oh, by the way. IT'S NOT A TTR250!

Thanks davo. I bought a TT250 to ride in this years Scrapheap Adventure. It goes, but needs a bit of work. So I thought if I could get a workshop manual, getting it sorted would make life a lot easier.

Yeh i'm going to need a workshop manual. Got a rattle I think is the cam chain. I need to know if the CCT is adjustable or if I have to change it, how to go about it etc.

Its a well known fact that directions are never required until you fuck something up,.

Only pussies need Manuals LOL!

From my shit memory they don't have an external cct manual adjustmet,I think it was a large piece of neoprene mounted inside which relied on flex to gain tension.Sometimes gits put these in backwards. But generally its a stretched chain. If so its a head off and lower gear drive off to drop the new chain in,just mark/count links between before doing so.

It's not a workshop manual but a parts catalogue but there may be a link to a workshop manual in there somewhere or email them and see if they have/ know where to get a manual.

Davo has the right of it. They had a tendency to crack heads between the valves seats too.
