Hey,

Names Trae from Melbourne, VIC found the forum while doing a search had a quick look around and looks the goods!

Own a 2006 Honda CBR600RR built into a Street Fighter (hence joining the forum).

Info:

- Tag Metals wide handle bars.
- HoHeyDesigns triple tree top clamp.
- Ebay (world sport way) headlight.
- Ebay front and rear clear arrow indicators.
- Acewell 3963 digital screen.
- Sprocket changed to front +1 and rear +2
- Bodis oval carbon exhaust.
- Adjustable shorty leavers.
- HEL braided brake lines.
- Pro Grip carbon tank lid cover.
- Carbon frame sliders.
- Carbon rear spools.
- Fender eliminator.
- Spray canned charcoal black.
- Over use of carbon fibre sticker wrap.

Not the cleanest thing around but rides well, over the next few months would like to swap out a few old cheap/dodge parts and give it general clean up add a few parts and basically get it looking better overall.

Recently joined a few other sites (net rider, ASB, 600RR.net) so some may have seen these pics before really need to get some new ones.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I just ordered a genuine Yamaha MT-03 headlight (55w) with brackets and clamps to replace the eBay one (25/35w) I like the look of it but the light output is crap! Could of went with the sonic one with projector but not a fan of the halo ring.

MT-03 although popular on a lot of street fighters will give me the same sort of look and better performance at night. Looking forward to changing up the bike over the next couple moths.

Welcome aboard. The bike looks great.

For the headlight, if you really want some power you should look into a HID projector retrofit, if the MT-03 housing has the room for it. I got a pair for my Patrol and will probably get some for the bike at some point. Nice crisp low beam cut-off (so no chance of blinding oncoming driverS), and the high beam is just insane.

Lots of info here:

Cheers mate.

Yeah there is room on the MT-03 and I've seen pics of it done before, just not sure I can be bothered with this one I had it done on my old EVO and you're right the output is insane compared to halogens. I'll see what happens if I'm not happy with the standard output of 55w halogens I'll go ahead and retrofit some HID's.
