This is the progression of it from a POS in a pile of sawdust to now...BTW...In the 6 or so yrs I've had it I've spent maybe $750 total on the bike...Everything was painted, polished, fabricated By myself or My buddy Mike Proteau...ALL PARTS WE'RE BLAGGED...hope you like

no pics of when I 1st got it...but it had suffered a major electrical fire and was buried in a pile of sawdust...all I could see was the tail light

I started to restore it...rode it like this for 2 yrs...went to Daytona twice on it

Finally got tired of people giving Me grief over My POS(as they all called it) and broke down and painted it, Made a tail and finally finished it...ony thing I have to do is make the undertail or undertail exhaust

The only original parts on the bike are the frame, swingarm and tank

I love this bike...and even though I've been close to sellin it more than a few times..I'll never sell it...done more shit and been more places with it than most have in a life time of bikes

Man, I have that exact same bike, same colour scheme and everything. The only difference is that mine wont look that sweet when its done.

Tone, mine has a cable clutch standard.

Love your work mate - saw the final photos you posted up last year but this just makes it all the sweeter - Wish mine was that cheap [:O] but fuck me I dont think I have the patience to wait 6 years!

Ya...1st time I worked with fibreglass..I got some pointers from a friend and went for it..took about 2 weeks to do..I really like it

wow, lot of time spent on that bike, riding and modifying. Definately worth it. Best mod i would have to say tail, followed by last headlight change. love the red and white paint-not too much but says 'look at me'. Dude, i don't even know you and i know you wouldn't sell that bike!! well done, you have my vote.

Believe it or not...It's a rattle can paint job...2 cans of appliance white and 3 cans of cherry red Krylon rust paint..1 coat of AutoAir Gem Ruby ...and 2 coats of good automotive clear rubbed out....Cost maybe $60.00 total...Was painted in a week-end in My Buddies back yard :lol:
the paint just explodes in the sun...I wish the pics would pic it up

Porky, perhaps you should get Ada to take a look at this bike and get him to do something like it with his.
