Hey guys,

Im in the process of changing my hayabusa from full fairing to a streetfighter. Its already got a GSXR thou tail and ive just ordered a shit ton of parts but the only thing im having problems with is finding somewhere to get the intake cover that goes over the frame to cover up the huge gap between the tank and the frame. Any idea where I can pick this up???

Also im hunting for bellypans. I found a site in the US http://www.streetfightersinc.com/HayabusaAccessories.htm but the prices are insane and I'd rather go without for coin like that. Anyone know of another place that sells them?
Cheers guys!

Do you know his name on the forum?

I sent an email off to extreme creations on Monday, waiting for a reply, thought they might have an idea.

Wild Hair Accessories are good for idea's,
but they are just Seppo's who buy everything from Germany
and bump the prices up. Not sure if they keep any thing in stock.

I know one of Kev's suppliers as she and her bloke both live in
the UK but visit Germany and have connections there.

Find what your after (on sites like wild hair) and start hunting
through UK and German speaking suppliers.

I have bought a Busa top yoke, Busa belly pan
and several other Busa fighter bits but both my suppliers
turned out to be c@nts who messed me about,
so I'm not going to recommend them.

My tank "infill panels" were made by a mate and
sprayed crinkle black, but I've seen others on here who
have bought them that cover the ram-air frame ducts.

Belly pan came from Germany....

Bar's are Renthal 789, Top yolk is an ABM but with upright risers not
the pullback risers supplied ( pullbacks were so the bars cleared the fairing)
*Busa master cylinder wont take traditional mirrors,
so I swapped the half moon part of the clamps for GSX1400 ones.

Front guard is a stock one cut down.
Not great as it sits a bit wide of the tyre.
Should change it for a GSXR one.

Had the stock tail for a few years, but an "ex-member"
had a GSXR tail on a Busa and sold it too me.

I used new clutch and brake lines but even with wide"ish" Renthals
Switch gear loom, throttle cables, fast idle (choke) etc will reach
with a little re-routing.

Electrics got modded a bit. Some went under the back of the tank
and the fuses ended up in the tail.

Rad got chopped so the top hose comes out of the back now,
not out the front - down - and under.

Shit you guys are too good, helped me out heaps. Going to check out that dash mounts for the stock speedo. Ive got two LED spotlights coming that Ill mount on the forks and use as headlights. I ordered a new top yoke from some mob in the UK, im thinking about running drag bars with them. Ive got a carbon fiber front guard which will suit the streetfighter look. Im going to order a new headlight from Milders masks in the UK sometime soon aswell. Cheers for the photos Tony, might try make a cover up for the tank and keep the build nice and cheap.

This is how mine sits now. Dont worry about the paint (plastidip), im going to an event on the weekend for Paul Walker up at movie world and all the young P platers love bright colours and shit, figured this might get them horny.

Streetfightersinc and wildhair are the same thing / same place.
Seppo's re-ordering from the US and bumping up the price.

Ive got a feeling that the ram air covers that I used were from big bike... less wait time & a tad cheeper going direct from the source..
I've attached the link.

Yeah I know Gitzy. Im going because there are meant to be over 2000 cars (im bit of a car nut as well as a bike nut) so it should be good to see some nice cars. That and the size of the police turn out will be interesting

I bought the Gimbel ones off Streetfighter Inc, they took about three months, they say 5 - 6 weeks but it was about double that to get them here. It cost me US$310 landed. They are very nice and fit snug.http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm70/stunva/Tanksmall_zpsf724af15.jpg

That looks mint! Decided im going to have a go at making them. Ill use the stock cover as a template and try make some molds. Either going to be fiberglass or carbon fiber
