Has any body got any idea who does cush drive sprokets???????????

Im not after a hub im after an actual sproket with the cush drive built into it,im sure ive seen them advertised some were before but cant for the life of me remember where.

This is for my new toy the wr450 MOOOOOterd.

Ive got all the motard wheels but am after a cush drive sproket to take some presure off the gear box whilst on the road.

Ive got this idea for a set up if i cant just get a sproket.

There was a mob making them about 12 months ago but they've dissappeared off the market. Bike shops can't even get the mob to return their phone calls.

I was after one as well.

I've never heard of a sprocket with a cush setup attached, surely it'd hafta be heaps thicker than just a sprocket by itself, wouldn't there be chain alignment/space/clearance issues?
Anybody got a pic of one?

The cush sprocket I was after had rubber bushes fitted into the mount holes on the sprocket and a steel sleeve inside the bushes for mount and tightening on the hub studs.
It did look to me like the sprocket could wobble a bit on the rubber bushes under stress but I was prepared to try it out.

Thanks for the reponses.

Ive tried chain gang they told me there is no such thing and tried selling me a wheel with a cush drive hub.$1180 or something.

The cush drive sprokets ive seen pics of somewhere previously?????
the sprocket was slit in to two parts the inner part(the bit that attaches to the hub)was just like normal.

The outer part (that the chain ran on)was seperated by some sort of rubber joining the two together.

Not thinking of Frankies spondon are you Damo ?
I uses a RC30 hub ( I think ) & has the cush drive rubbers
mounted in the sprocket.

Nah not sure about Frankies????????[?]

But yes i think im going to come knocking on the door again Ben.:D

Ive got an idea? ive already drilled out the sprocket and instead of nut and bolting the sproket back on im going to cut a thread in the hub mounting points and bolt straight into it and on the bolts have some rubber to sleave the bolts just to take up some of the harshness.

Maybe[?][?]

Sounds good in theory what do you recon[?][?]
recon itll work

Have seen them advertised in dirt bike mags at work. tey have what looks like neoprene sleeves around the mounting bolts. I'll have a look and see if they are still there, the guy that used to bring them in left a few months ago.
