Im adding a dry nitrous kit to my busa SWB. Never worked with NOS before. 48HP shot fitting a PerformanceFirst Cycles (https://www.facebook.com/PerformanceFirstCycles?directed_target_id=33410495 0054608) spray bar, 2 dial progressive controller, EFIR, power commander for fuel and nitrous activation. 80% throttle 8000rpm triggers. I have read/been told heaps of different information about set up, so questions are.
1. How much timing should I pull.... Rule of thumb is 2 for 50 but have been told everything from 0 to 4 . I am thinking 1
2. Spraying in first, I was going to start at 50% and ramp over 2 sec. Is that over kill? do I even need to ramp. remembering bike is SWB

1. Take 4 and work your way back to 2 (will soften things a little on your first play, and ambient temp will vary bottle pressure as well as intake temp) With a 50 shot in a 1300 your aiming to increase peak torque at a similar rpm down the track more retard will be better than less for this.

2. Nothing wrong with starting at 50% and ramping up slow, better to feel the rush than empty your pants on the first run. An extra 24 hp doesnt sound like much until you find the rear end spinning full noise 4th cause the track is slippery. Remember the track prob wont be prep'd and will have had dust blown about all week.

You should start at a 300hp shot....then back it off bit by bit until you stop blowing things up.
