Ok so I was stripping the back end off the 7/11 to put the new rear subby on. Got 3 of 4 allen bolts out. Round the head out of the 4th one... FUUUUUCK! How do I get that bitch out? Any bright ideas? Tried drilling it out but no go. Drill didn't leave so much as a mark on it.

Weld a big nut to the head of the allen bolt and use a socket.

Yea, that or if you don't have a welder try cutting a groove across the top and using an impact driver (not the best as the sides aren't very strong, but it's worked for me before). Give it loads of WD40 and let it soak beforehand.

Or buy some decnt drill bits and stop tring to drill it out with a masonry bit.

A decent drill bit will go through a shcs. Cobolt would be best.

File or grind some flats on the outside to fit an open ended spanner, if it's not recessed. Then try and tighten the prick a smidgen and then try take the prick out.

Or put the other 3 back in and this may take some on the load of the fucked one and try and get the fucker out. < that makes no fucking sense.

Welding works good as well, the heat helps.

Smash the living fuck out of the Cunt Of A Thing with a mash hammer - it won't get the bolt out but you'll feel really good for a few minutes afterwards.

Pre-heat the oven to 180deg (210 for conventional ovens) and put on your most comfortable pair of shoes. Approach the bike from up-wind, as it will smell you coming otherwise.
Tap the tank and whilst it is distracted momentarily, hit that fucking bolt with a set of vice grips.
If the bolt is recessed then just belt the shit out of it til the head becomes proud.
Then use the afore mentioned vice grips.
Once the bolt is out, bake a pie.

Grab your nearest 5 inch angle grinder with a cutting disk on it. carefully cut around the bolt as not to damage it. throw bike out and replace with yamaha.

Wurth sell a socket kit for just the problem you have mate . It has the reverse of easy outs in socket head , you tap the impact socket on with hammer and use a 1/2 drive rachet or breaker bar and undo " it is spiralled like an easy out but internally and the more you turn , the more it bites on bolt head.
I have a set in workshop cupboard for landrover head bolts.

Thru that large ring place a chain that any man made tool won't cut thru.
