Help mate buy a bike

I've got a mate that's looking at buying a bike in the near future but has been given $8000 budget by missus and lives in NSW.
He has talked about wanting a speed triple but I think he is open to suggestions.
Anyone know of anything?.

Speed triples are boring as batshit.
Took one for a test ride and was completely underwhelmed.

8 grand will get him something from the land of the rising sun a hell of a lot better that a triple...

Nothing special to me about shpeed Twiples,
Ridden a few, never got real excited.

Hard to recommend anything without knowing the bloke.
Tourer? Fighter? Commuter? Gay cruiser?
Is he mechanical? what experience does he have ?
What's he want to do with it ?

My 1400, B12 and ET together cost around $8000,
for $8k I'd want something f#ckin' special !


Personally I'd find a Gen1 Busa for that sort of money.
