Just got this from a mate. Reckons its a speed camera near Cairns. Getting bloody sneaky if it is.

Looks about just the right hight to fit a burning truck tyre underneath

Does the other side of the road get the speed,and this side takes the pic??
Like Red says......it'll be vandalised that often,it wouldn't be worth servicing all the time if it is an actual camera??

I don't think someone would vandalise such a valuable piece of police equipment :rolleyes:. The burning tyre was common in the UK :D.

within a day of them replacing it would be about right, in the Uk they even make them fire proof now because of the constant vandalisim, But a truck tyre still fucks em

Just got this from a mate. Reckons its a speed camera near Cairns. Getting bloody sneaky if it is.

Same pic has been "hoaxed" around the world
for quite a while. Originally Switzerland or Belgium.
Not even sure if its a camera or a traffic monitoring sensor
(although a sensor could be used to trigger a camera)

Not a sneaky as the " built in the road" weigh stations I've been
installing to keep an eye on trucks in NSW..... LOL
