crankshaft regrind?

ok ive stripped the motor, and the cranks marked up on no 2 big end journal.
whats better, weld ,regrind and harden the old crank or get a s/hand crank? assuming i can find a good one. (Its out of a cbr 1000f)
if a regrind would be a good idea, who would be the best to contact about it, im in NSW. The local machine shop doesnt want anything to do with it.

regrinds are ok, the problem is finding oversize bearings...
i think you can metal spray and regrind...but its not ideal
how bad are the marks ?...take it to a few places,talk to your bike dealer about what oversize bearings are available. if you go s/hand ....you never know the history, it could be damaged, bent....who knows!!!!!
