Dyno night

Yep it's a copy and paste from last time, same rules apply.

It's on.

The best time for me to run it is Friday the 19th of JULY after work.
I know it's short notice and may not be good for some people and I'm sorry.

Right let’s get started.

I'm running a DYNO night.

It will be held at DYNO DYNAMICS, 19 Industry Court Lilydale VIC.

Doors will be open after 5:00pm and will finish when I'm sick of you.

You will get a couple of runs and a print out.
You will then get the chance to change Jets/timing/plugs etc and then back on the DYNO to check the changes.
All work on your bike will be done by YOU, not us and you'll need to bring your own tools.

There is plenty of room for you to strip your bike and do whatever you want.

This is for the Streetfighters not for the general public, please don't bring all your mates as they will be turned away.

EDIT: Fairy bikes are welcome, does not have to be a fighter!

The cost to you is $0.0 .... I'm am doing this for FREE.
You will have to sign a form as well.

Can I get a real count as to who's coming, not I might or maybe I can come.
I don't want to set this up for 1 person.

Edit:
Make sure you have a FULL tank of fuel, try and use the type of fuel you use most often.
Legal stuff.... If I think your bike is UNSAFE I won't run it. No oil leaks, No Fuel leaks Etc.

It's probably a good idea to have new plugs with you, we can look for Det on the plugs if you like.

If you bring more than 1 bike, the second bike gets run when I get a chance or you finish the first. I don't want heaps of bikes in bits around the factory.

Big thanx to Ivan & Dyno Dynamics for last night's dyno session :o
FMD, what a difference a Brand X fuel adjustment device makes!
Last time on the dyno the Blackbird was rich as 10 motherfuckers with the standard ECU waay overcompensating for the replacement exhaust system & only made 118hp, this time out with a PC 3 & a map downloaded off the PC site that was pretty close, it went 144hp with a much better AFR - still not the perfect setup but there's still some tweaking available to get it spot on.
I gotta say, with the fuel a bit closer to optimum & the engine putting out proper power, the thing sounds a fuckload angrier than any Honda has a right to - I'm reeeally looking forward to getting it back to Heathcote.
Also worth noting was, at peak HP, the injector duty cycle maxed out at 61% - you know what this means now don't you.... ;)

Took the Gixer along for a run as well, a couple of minor jetting adjustments are required on that one but as it was it made 115 which seems to be on par with other Gix 11s & Blandits, I'd like to see it make another 5 horses ideally because... then I'll have 5 more. :rolleyes:
Speaking of Bandits, we've uncovered a worldwide conspiracy, Suzuki lied about their power output! :eek: We discussed it last night & none of us could understand why they would understate the HP figures by so much. I've seen a few oil cooled Gix 11s & Bandit 12 moteurs on the dyno now (Including Shano's 7/12 last night) & I've come to the conclusion that the 11s only make 5 hp more than the 12s - yet Suzuki claims 98hp for the 12 & 140 for the 11 :confused:

Sumcunt might have made 200hp last night too... :cool:

Forgot to mention - there's a Bandit S going real cheap, someone will be along shortly with details.

That was a false run bud.. hit the limiter and when I backed off the power spiked .. ill send you the graph so you can see what happened

THanks for posting my power graph...Read and weep....if you ride a moped.

I tweaked my pilot screws at home that weekend. THey were about half a turn further out than the haynes book of lies said they should be. It feels smoother, but that doesn't say much
