I decided that the front of Mongrel needed a bit of an update.

Firstly...now I think Mongrel is an appropriate name being it has parts from a yamaha (being R1 tail) and now from a Kawasaki (being ZX0 mudguard).

I bought an 04 kwaka ZX10 hugger and preceeded to make it adapt to cover the gaping hole over the rear wheel. While sitting there, I came up with an idea of making a screen from it.

This is what it looked like when I had finished cutting and sanding.

I have also replaced my chrome twin lights with the matt black set I had bought for the ZX9.

Had to remount my indicators, so i mounted them through the screen.

Lowered the headlights from where they were sitting which left the screen sitting at perfect level to shield the speedo.

Not flash, but does the job. Will paint it soon in a gloss black... Possibly add some sort of design to dress it up... who knows.

Not the best photo, but it shows how close it is to the bars etc. The screen now hides the speedo bracket I had on bike tidying the eye sore it was...

thanx guys. Still deciding if I will just paint it gloss black or go get another ASF member to make one in Carbon Fibre. Thinking the Carbon Fibre option might be the better option..
