Hey Guys,

I'm participating in Dry July - the charity that helps adults living with cancer - and have sworn off drinking alcohol for the whole month. That's 31 days where I'll actually be accountable for my actions. Yikes!

For those of you who know me, I don't have a good track record staying of the booze, so I am using this as motivation.
In appreciation of my radical transformation, any generous support you may be able to offer will go a long way to ensuring I don't fall off the wagon, as well as helping the many adults that live with this terrible disease.

My profile page link should you wish to make a donation and leave a message of support is:

I hope you believe in the concept as much as I do and can help support me whilst I go Dry this July!!

Thanks in advance for your kind sponsorship,
Rod

Good luck. I drink to make my problems worse, it often works.

Very worthwhile cause Rodders. I'll drop a few quid your way. That said, give yourself an uppercut for the newly jobless at Carlton United

Good on you Rod. I did it last year (yep, made the whole month plus a day or two) so I know what it's like. It's hard as fuck, that's what it's like!! But it will be a good indicator of your depth of character, ie; make a comittment and stick to it or take the easy way.
I hope you do better than my pathetic fund raising ($260).
I'll def throw some $$ in for you.

Cheers, Well it's the first Friday night after dry july and just finished a cup of tea. Big day tomorrow so didn't see the need to have a drink tonight. Seriously thought about it though.
