To drill or not to drill?

Hey guys I have a 91 cbr250rr that I'm modifying, I was toying with the idea of drilling through my top yoke to mount risers for a set of rental bars. I haven't done it yet as I feel it may be a bad idea but I was hoping someone might have an idea if its possible with reinforcement or just a bad move all together. any advice would be appreciated. Drill it. Just put big washers underneath. If you use the search function you should find a how to thread somewhere

Only problem might be the holes that remain after you return your rental bars......

Go for it, you can always buy a replacement top clamp later if not happy!
