Ali or steel fuel tank ?

Got an offer to have an Ali fuel tank built (by a pro).

Just wondering if it will be more hassle than its worth...damage...vibration...cracking etc ???

well they use alloy tanks in cars so i cant see why it would be a problem

I'd go the Ali tank too. Especially if someone else has put their hand up to make it. Vibration and cracking shouldn't be an issue provided it's put together properly.
