Hi all,
Juat updating the latest aditions to the Vrap. Bought a clutch cover last year and the got the urge for the nitrous. Have a mate with a busa who gets other people to work on it and i vowed that I would take him at the drags one day. I know there's about 4/5 of fuck all chance of that happening but would love to see his face when the nitrous cuts in in 3rd. Just need to fill the cylinder, dyno it with a second map and hit the Motorplex before I go back to work in Feb. The clutch cover is the same as what EXBEN is selling, so anyone with a TL, go for it. The thing is a work of art and bling factor +10!:D

I went for a NX wet system, seperate fuel pump etc. and am injecting directly into the rubber manifold below the throttle bodies. I was a bit hesitant about mounting them there, so bought a used set of manifolds to tap into. When I took it apart the manifolds are pretty thick so when the injector nozzles were installed their actuallly pretty sturdy. Hardest part was trying to find a spot for everything, there is no storage for anything on this bike, hence the solenoid hanging out the side.

Nice work mate.

Take some ignition timing out of it a feed it the fat mate.

Should I take the TRE off? If not what's the best way to decrease the timing? No ignition module , just the ECU.

Its a Nitroux Express wet kit. Bought from Schnitz Racing but have needed little pieces here and there so have gone to Nitrous Express directly. A mate that races says they have the best solenoids, so thats why I went that way.

Price for the kit was $680.00 US delivered, but had to get fuel pressure low switch seperate, Nitrous gauge seperate and a longer hose to the cylinder. Its all the other bits like the PCIII, Multifunction hub and harness'sand quickshifter that started to add the dollars, but I want to do it right the first time.

You could modify the ignition sensor mount for about 4 degrees.

The TRE won't be giving it more ignition in 4th-6th but you could swap the resistor for a 2nd gear one to get some timing out of it. You could even make it switchable when you arm the gas.

You could make a TRE that was 5th gear when no gas is used and then when you arm the gas it could go to 2nd gear to keep some ignition out of it.

Just thinking out loud.

Let me know if you want a hand with that.

older powercommanders pc3r and pc2r had ign control
i have one that stopped working on the injector side and modded it as ign only.
