[?]will a gpz1000 motor fit into the gpz750 chassis.
the bike is an '86 gpz 750 and has zx750f stamped on the compliance plate, the motor is in need of work and depending on how much it is going to cost it might be better off buying and fitting a bigger motor for it.

I'll use round about logic to answer that. A GPZ1100 motor almost bolts straight into a GPZ750 engine(need to move the left rear lower mount out 25mm ) . A GPZ1100 motor also fits into a GPZ1000RX frame very snuggly with fuck all room around it . Therefore the GPZ1000RX engine [u]should</u> squeeze into a GPZ750 frame. Not 100% of course .

thanks mate i thought you would be the one with the iofo, it is a good help, an as with all things anything will fit with modifications.

Cheers Clive.

No worries mate. If you get stuck , pallet the motor up along with 6 dozen cans and ship it to me . I still have a couple of GPZ frames in the yard spare .

we will see what happens, managed to pick up a good set of cams for it at a reasonable price and that was my bigist worry, the onlthing that i need to do now is sort the oil leek out on the sprocket side, i think it is from behind the cover that the sprocket seal sits in. but i dont know yet as, it would be easer if i had a manual for it.
