Stupid name, really good helmet, and the first AGV that has been comfortable on my head.
4232
I bought it a few months ago, and have used it everyday for work on a versys with a vario screen, and a few times on the fighter and (before i sold it) on the motard.
I always ride with earplugs, but noise wise, it's better than by Arai tour cross that also has a peak, and also better than my shark vision r (no peak). On a bike without a screen it's silent.
I haven't ridden without the peak yet, but I'm doing a trackday on thursday on the vfr, so i'll try and pay attention to how it does.
It is fucking light, and the peak is sturdier than the Arai, it doesn't bobble around as much.
The dark visor is actually black, so you look awsome.
The only issue is that the anti fog isn't so good any more, but that's pretty minor.
Really good helmet for the money, i think better than the Arai. If you're looking for a new helmet, check one out.

It was 400 and something, less than $450. Compared to the arai at $700 odd, pretty good value.

It'll be fine, fimp. It's not like i've got a really pointy german seat or anything.
It'll be me on the vfr doing my first trackday in years (i cancelled my last one due to a case of broken leg) and a mate doing his first trackday on his fightered Busa.
Should be fucking awesome.

No, this busa is black, and works perfectly. He is on the ASF fagbook page, but not on here.
What bike are you tomorrow, Nick? and what group?
My mate is is the slow group, and i'm in medium slow. It has been a while after all.

Im on my street bike, a hypermotard. Years ago i was A group, but tomorrow im going in C group, coz my mate has to being a first timer, and it was the only spot available. I'll probably move up during the day if the slow group is ridiculously slow....tho it feels fast when you pass 20 bikes a lap!!! LOL
I haven't been for years, and not to keen on throwing my road bike down the road....so i'll just cruise around til i get another track bike soonish.

Yeah but it's not an Arai is it.Out of curiosity why would you want a peak on a helmet that you use on the road/circuit?

Nope, it isn't an Arai, it's an AGV:)
after riding in both, i prefer the AGV. i haven't crashed in them both, so i can't compare that side of things. I can't see what the extra money spent on Arai gets me. Yes, they are handmade, by Japanese artisans, blah blah, but after having used both helmets with similar features, the AGV is better n my opinion.

I like the peak on the road because i ride into the sun on the way to work in the morning, and into the sun on the way home. The peak take away a lot of glare.
I've taken the peak off for the track tomorrow. Another reason that this style of helmet is good, touring or commuting with the peak, or riding like a goose without the peak.

I recently upgraded from AGV to a Bell RS-1. Awesome stack hat . $400 to my door. Only problem is there is limited stock imported and they sell out fast so pre-ordering is recommended .Fuckin google it.
