That's awesome, good luck on the ride mate.
So after dicking around around with these fuxked carvie which i found more and more problem i decided to say fuck it, and went and brought a new set. Couldnt find any gs450 carbs so got a set off a gs500. Basicly fit straight in and already jetted quiet well plus there off a running bike so basic balance and floats heights are right

Just had to re eun rhe cable to allow for a different fit. But fits not a problem

Couldn't get the video to play for some reason? But all seems ok yea? I would really recommend a run on the dyno to make sure you're in the ball park before getting stuck in to riding it mate. They could give you advice on what jets sizes would be the go as well and you could just buy a kit and fit them yourself.
Its on the card mate. Judt need more cash to keep moving along.
Done some more but photo bucket isnt working at the moment. To it for a goos ride but it startes to smoke odd the header at idel. Doi d the stator cover was leaking so a stjp clean and re assemeble and away it went. How ever i think the front brake mite be gripping alittle. Anotjer thing ti look at this week

Sounds like the caliper pistons are binding. Might need to take the caliper off, pull it apart and give it a service.

Took it fir a good 200km ride today. Stopped by lynnton land anf said hi. Yer Si. Mite need to do it again. Also still have a small oil leak out if the stator cover. Its alot better but still a drip
So we heades out for a pre ride ride to check everything was ok. Ended up on rhe trailer home. Looks like the suspension came loose ans undid it self. However the tyre has a new deep groove in the middle. Most like will replace it.
Trying this imagur since wants money and im a cheap skate.

Sounds like it's good to go mate.
So haven't done mch with since our ride to Glen innes last year when the header burnt out. Final got some spare coin and now we have a new set of stainless exhaust.

Ive been having front brake trouble. It always feels like its grabing. So before the ride on the 2nd ( plus the fact loz will most like steal my GSX-S) i decided to strip the front calipar and clean it again. Seems there some build up on the piston so I'll give it a rub and clean and see how it goes. There is also a bit of garbage inside the calipar so i will try and clean that out too.

Yep, sounds like a plan.
Took it out today and made 100% better. However therre may have been a spricng missing i the original build that could have been the difference
