Ironic how it's a modern take on an old styled modern bike.

Looks good mate.

Looks very tidy. Pity there aren't more of them around. Not many sold in Oz as I seem to remember they were expensive. Did ride a 750 Zephyr a few times while the ZX9R was being serviced. Thought the Zephyr was under powered and the handling was very ordinary.

Be suprised if it was that many. Can only remember seeing 1 or 2 over the last 20 years. Timeless classic like the original.

I have one , bob the painter(ace of sprays) has one
and my mate Scotty had one, those are the only people I know
have heard under 250 as well as under 300 but have never found the right answer
Mind u by the time I'm finished the frame and body work is all that will be left of mine.
So people like rocket has found feel that it wouldnt be a zephyr any more..... Balls to them lol

Ozzy1100, I agree with you. There have been a couple who have expressed their opinion that my rendition stops it being a true Zephyr. That would befine if that was my aim, to produce a perfect Zeph1100, but it wasn't, I wanted a modern take on the bike, to take it to a place that I feel it should have been and where I wanted it, so yeah, balls to em. Most folk (99%) however have been very positive about it which has been a great compliment, so overall I'm real happy with the result.

Well it really is the 1st of a style and by a long margine before any 1 else built something close
and if kwaka had of had the balls to build it with more of the
argresion of the z it would be a full classic in its own right.
So I'm with u it's is just cring out for a update with easy to get stock bike parts and make
what I feel is the best modern mussel bike out of something most people forget about. :-)
Mine is getting zx14r front, zrx1200 swing arm, gen1 busa rims and I'm putting the std motor under covers
to be replaced with up to 1500cc zx gpz1100 full house motor. 40mm rs flat slides, dyna 2000 and more motor
work than a check book can buy( sometimes it really is just who u know) :-)

Hey Ozzy
How's the Zeph100 or bastard Zeph coming along. I've been off the grid for a while so would be nice for an update, if you've managed to get it rolling along that is?

PS
My latest build and probably be hated by most frequenting this site. But I build all sorts and wanted something that wouldnt look out of place in the 50's next to a Chevy pick-up. I guess this wouldn't win streetfighter of the month tho :p49304931
