Hi everyone this is my first post and just wanted to introduce myself. I have just embarked on a 7/11 project. If it wasnt for the rain in sydney i probably would be working on it, but mother nature has said no....I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to take the carbs to get overhauled/cleaned and the number carb's needle is bent so that replaced, im in the northern suburbs of sydney.

anyway hope to ride with you guys someday!!!

Cheers.

Northern Sydney; that would be Ben Land wouldn't it? Give Ben a call mate, he'll sort it (but he will complain about carbs as opposed to injectors and might point you somewhere that loves 'em): www.extremecreations.com.au

Alternatively, Chris had a mate in Sydney called Harley (ironically) who was a weapon with the old carbie Gixers. PM Hooligan or wait for him to come through this post.

Welcome aboard mate.

And here i am.
Harley at RB racing did my carbs, but he's at Caringbah. That was setting up 91 750 carbs on my 1196cc 87 1100 motor. Really good mechanic.
Motorcycle Weaponry are at Mona vale, Steve and Titch seems to know more than anyone needs to about old gixxers.

Welcome mate. I'm not from Sydney either, but did stay in a backpackers in Kings Cross back in '92 for a few days. Not sure how relevant that is ?
