just thought some might like this little side project I have done for scotts mental z.....well one of them anyway
but if this works I think he will want more
K so the problem is he had two moto batts die with in a week of each other and as he said he never had a prob with moto batt till he read they where shit on here.. well shit happens
So I says to him these back up agm batts are really good for the low price and imo shit all over wet cells
As moto batts are agm so why not have a look to see if there is a of the shelf batt to fit.
Well there isnt as such. I had my trusty tape looking for a batt that would fit the 135 x 90 foot print and nothing fit.
Tho as I was looking over batts I spy the 7.2 ah ones mmmmnnn i wonder that equals the 14 ah moto batt
Well what do you know side on press together on their end they come in at 130x95 take out the small rubber side in the std batt box should fit, wire them up and for just over $80 he ends up with this
A yuasa(best on market) 14.4 ah agm back up batt that fits std z

so the max charge rate allowed on them ??

Initial rate is about half total capacity so a 7 ah batt about 3.5 to 4 amp max , a little cheap 12 charger would be fine on em just dont use a good "workshop" charger on a high rate or they pop they're seals and dont work to good after.
