So it has no engine, wiring or dash but has all body work ?

$1500 is the highest offer I'd make too. The fairings if they are in good nick can be sold on eghey for a few bucks etc front end anywhere from $400-$1000 depending on whats included. The list goes on...

I spent $3k on my K4 with a busted motor, but I could re-use partd from the old motor so didn't cost me as much as if I needed to buy a new (2nd hand) motor.

if its a written off chassis then his market is very very small
sounds like he is too lazy to part out individually and would therefore suffer with the sale price

i'd off him $500 (assuming its a write-off), thats also assuming it has no fairings, tank or rear subframe. just a bare chassis with forks, swinger, shock, brakes, handlebars and wheels

he bought it complete from a guy who was needing the cash, and as far as i know it had fallen of the stand and busted up the LHS front panels. tank, tail, front etc all good or good enough. Doesn't look like it has slid down the road, tyres good, Master Cyl seems to have packed it in tho. minor mods, just some grips and painted rims.
I will hold out for $1500 and hope i get him to sell it to me, he is using the motors in speedway micro sprint cars, so the rest is useless for him. Fingers crossed i can come out with a bargain.

Thanks for the advice lads.
