i watched some wicked old skool racing last night on channel 10 swann series from 1985 wayne gardiner on an nsr500 verses a tz750yam ,nsr400.gixer750 rg500mk111 absolutly wicked and they showed the entire seasons heats needless to say the nsr500 whipped the rest into oblivion

Saw that on ABC2, best bit, WG highsided into a ditch on the last lap.
The night before they had one about Bathurst races Easter 1981, good doco.

watched that to, mal campbell did a great job for a guy who was 31 in 1985, still can tear it up now mind you! the bikes where the rc?? 750's wherent they?? but the drifting was unreal especially that 1st turn at surfers. unreal!!

seen mal campbell on the NR750 oval piston...8 valve jobbie in surfers in about 82..memory aint that good..he was the first person in the world to give the NR a race win..another goodie was andrew johnson aboard the syndicate kawasaki..fuck that thing was a ball tearer
