well me bike decided it wasn't going to have a bar of me riding to work in the 3 inches of fresh snow which dumped last night, i told her it had to be done, work is a responsibility!! she wasn't happy with this as she wanted a fun run in the snow and preceded to eat a set of plugs in protest :D
so called the boss and told him that work wasn't go to happen, and i'd see him the following day :D
right down to my local motor factors and promptly got a set of new plugs. and went home and got them fitted to the bike.
now she was happy as she'd got her way, off for the promised ride
into the scottish countryside

i usually do a race in nz mountians in he winter on dirtbikes d; its fairly fun, more crashing than actually racing though..
but riding with road tyres on that stuff is loose :D
its fine in a straight line its just the corners and trying to stop thats hard :D

Mr BEAM

Actually he did not call me, I phoned him to see where he was and he protested he could not come to work ( as a electrician) that day as it was too icy and his motorcycle would not start.
So he had a duvet day. It appears that he was able to start it though. hmmm.
He came to work the following day though and after a short 8 hour working day he left the site we were on, to go home. Only to find the motorcycle would not start. So he went home by bus.... and the next again too. Caused quite a chuckle.:) Mr BEAM the 'boss'
