Thanks guys.

No I'm not going to paint them.

The guys at the shop did suggest we not fit tyres and just hang them on the wall to look at (beer in hand)

my forged ally CZ's make the TLR flick like a 2fitty

They are tougher than alloy wheels but do tend to fail in a more dramatic fasion.

The kind of force required to break them kind of makes the failure mode irellevant though as that kind of force on the wheels means you have lots of other problems LOL

It does make the handling very impressive.

Hard to describe, it turns better, rides bumps better, holds a line better, accelerates better, stops better ... it's better.

fimp...... I'd be flattered you'd proposition me like that but I know you only want me for my body ..... ;)

Yes Simon the stock wheels are

The Stock wheels are

Front - 4.66 Kg
Rear - 7.62 Kg

The BST's are

Front 2.49 Kg
Rear 4.71 Kg

Thats a weight reduction of

Front - 2.16 Kg
Rear - 2.91 Kg
Total - 5.08 Kg

When you consider the weight is mosly lost from the rim and not so much the hub it's actualy the "moment of inertia" that is the most significant improvment.

Without getting techinical BST claim a 55% imoprovment on the front and a 65% improvment on the rear compared to the stock rims.

That's 20% better than forged / magnesium rims too.

They really make a massive difference to the bike. More than any other single mod I've done.
