Apparently it's 10 years this year since the forum as we see it now was kicked off. I have barely participated in it and still met a really good bunch of guys I've been riding with, who I probably wouldn't have been lucky enough to meet elsewhere.
Normally if anyone does me a favour, the least I can do is buy them a beer. So I figure i owe Si one or two.
So at some point this year, going to try and organize a ride to the gold Coast and do just that. With AFR and NFR on, I figure it needs to be during winter but that doesn't have to mean shite weather, particularly riding up to the GC.
I'll have a look around for accommodation that suits and sort times etc but a couple of basics first:
Are you interested in a weekends ride to buy Si a beer - he'll need to train fucking hard and get proper piss fit if we end up with a big list
2 days or 3 days?
June/July/August or September - whats suits most the best?
We'll go with the majority. No idea what places to stay are like but I'll work to NFR budgets. I'm sure there must be somewhere that will take us all.
