Since AFR is coming up I thought I would make the ol girl better for the corners, so I put her on a diet starting at the feet . Lost just over 10kg already.

Ha Ha Fimp If I could afford 10K for wheels I would have built another bike, Boxer scored the rear & a 19" front off a mate of his for a great price ( they are to suit a Vrod ) & the front was on a blade El sammo bought in China, as he didn't have a matching rear he didn't want it, so we got that cheap also, definitely not a straight fit tho, the front was fairly straight forward just needed some custom offset disc carriers & a couple of wheel spacers.
The rear was a prick tho as the Vrod doesn't use a cush drive so I had to make a custom one, & the rear disc had to sit out 30mm from where it was designed to on the wheel, Oh & being for a h?#*%Y all the spacings are imperial ( but the bolt's are metric ??) Closest disc bolt spacing I found was R1, luckily I had a spare Rear Buzz Saw disc liying around.

Wow what a great look for judge ben well done , what a stuff around that was for the rear but over all a great look and I'm sure you will pick up a few extra hp with the light wheels as well
Looks great Ben, where do you find the time.

Are you going to give it the full treatment and do carbon everywhere?
It would be interesting to see the before and after weight if you did this.

Nah Ivan Im just doing a few bits to shave a few kilos. The tail & front guard were carbon anyway. Wheels have made a huge difference to the handling & I'm running a 70 series front tyre again which has helped also.
