I asked him about it too. Bit rich for my blood. Did you see the GT750 he had ready to assemble?
He's got a bit of treasure up there for sure.

Yeah bit of a strange one , some stuff that prob worth good dollars he wants F all for (there would be at least 2 waterbottles in bits in the shed and 8 frames out the back) yet he wanted top dollar for a t500 that needs a full rebuild

So, this is where I'm at. Moving house so gonna leave the final fiddly bits until later. Even though I say so myself, she's a pretty girl and it's been worth the effort.

Does that work? I would have thought it would dulled them further?

Did that Fimp and hit them very carefully with the polishing wheel. You should have seen them before I started !

The yellowing goes right through the lens so that is pretty much as good as they're gonna get. Will look into replacing them fully when time permits.

Thanks for putting the before and after pics Simon. There were a few parts swapped out and she's not mint. Would like to do over once I collect more parts but it's easier to move house with all the bits bolted together in the right place.

Taken 13 months give or take a few days so not quite in the blink of an eye but seeing as I've been working on the Bandit for 7 years................

Looks more like a 9 year old tham a 40 year old and probably better than the Bandit. I can sit and stare at her for hours, I think I'm in love.

Pics are down, but from the last pic I can see of the tank and front together it's looking clean! Wish I had the time/money/room to do this, especially in 13 months! Well done mate.

Have you got gang plates yet?

I'd be parking that in the house if it was mine.

Not yet Geko dude, got an electrickery leak and I need to drag Shano down to give it a look over.

Then all I need is chain & sprockets and a tube in the front. Oh, and gang plates.
