hey all i have an 1991 fzr 250 3ln exup i was woundering if any one could tell me why it has started to play up recently it will rev to 17-18000 no worries and some times it will be pushing to get 8-10000 would this problem be electrical or in the fuel system as i have had the carbies cleaned syncroded and tuned i have also got 4 uni filters on the other side of the carbs and i run cr9?'s

will give it a compression test soon as soon as i can find my tester

Was this all done before and its just started playing up[?]

Or did you do it and then it started playing up[?]

Are the filters individual pods? They tend to prefer their vacuum sealed air box. If you want the best advice head to www.fzr250.com, its an aussie site and when I had issues with mine they always helped out.
Your issues could be anything from the exup valve getting stuck to a carbie issue. Problem with FZR250s are that there carbies are an absolute biatch to toy with. As I said, get to FZR250 and ask around there.

yer it played up so i though i would get someone to clean them out and yer the rest and when i putt the standard filter set up on it still dose it

sounds like when whoever cleaned them may have not placed a needle back in the emolsion tube.
