View Full Version : My GS750 cafe racer
LKC has been rebuilding my GS750 into something a little bit more fun
Still needs a few bits and pieces, seat & trim, exhausts, and hoping I can find some wire wheels that fit.

That looks good Sen, I really want to do a Cafe Racer job on my KTM950 but, too many projects........
Very neat. Rearsets and upswept pipes would be nice. Good to see a bike on a budget.

Top Job Mate, I love that. I've been thinking about turning the bandit into a cafe racer you may have just inspired me..

Hey Sen, didnt realise you posted this up here mate. I am glad you like it andhopefully soon you can get the other goodies you want for it so I can put them on it.
Just to run through what has actually been done to this bike I will list it all below as follows from front to rear.
Headlight fork brackets flipped to lower light. Dammoto single speeedo replaced the massive ugly stock unit.
Ace bars fitted a flipped. Reason for that was the tank is so wide, clip ons to the forks would hit badly so this was the other option, and it seams to work well.
Solo seat has been cut and made wider by 35mm to fit onto the massive frame of GSX. The rear sub frame shortend and closed off with a mounting plate for rear tail light. The tail light was then moulded into the rear seat section.
As Sen has stated, there are future plans for this bike by him, I'll just help by turning the spanners.

Thanks Luke, and yeah Luke gets ALL the credit for this build, as mentioned before. Due to my crippleness and mechanical-retardedness i'm not shy in saying I can't build shit, so have depended on him for all this :)
