looking for advice on air filters after i have removed airbox on my slabbie

all i know is that i think u need the twin K&Ns on ur carbs but the suzy nuts will no doubt be able to fill u in better on that score

You'll need the conical ones mate as the ovals that fit the slingshot won't fit into a slabbie. Me and Supercharger found that out. The frame is closer (hence why you have to wrip the engine out to remove your bloody airbox!)

so gix u mean that to get the airbox out so as to install the k&N's i have to take the lump out?
don't happen to have the code number for them at all ?

You could always cut it apart to get it out like I did to my air box. After all, I wasnt going to put it back in bike so why not cut it to bits...

if you go onto the k&n website you will find the part numbers for the filters or kit, i went to repco for mine, they were about half the price of the bike shops
